Business Units (BUs) provide an operational layer of segmentation beneath Regions. They represent distinct organizational departments, cost centers, or logical divisions (e.g., Sales, Customer Support, Billing, IT Helpdesk) operating within a particular Region. By defining Business Units, administrators can granularly assign users (via Access Groups) to only view and audit the interactions generated by their specific department, preventing cross-departmental data exposure.
